FYI - Bay ridge journal and Bay Ridge Rover are two different entities and ironically are on opposite ends on this issue and are having a pissing war right now.

The dead tree story is completely ridiculous. I checked out the tree this morning. It was, in fact, partly hollow and starting to rot. And guess what people - it's a tree! It's not like the city euthanized a healthy dog or anything.

It was funny to watch everyone stop and read the pamphlet some yahoo had taped to the fence in front of the church and get outraged.

I used to be a logger.
