Slope Gets New Yoga Studio

Bend and Bloom yoga opened on September 2nd at 708 Sackett between 4th and 5th Avenues. They're offering classes for kids and pre- and post-natal yoga, though the kid-free are of course welcome, too. You can also rent out the studio or attend one of their yoga parties. Grand opening specials include three-for-one classes.

Park Slope needs a real studio that doesn't just cater to stay-at-home moms and babies! A clean one too! (Unlike Park Slope Yoga/Devi!!) Please, yoga gods, listen to me!!!!

I agree aCliche - it would be nice to have a studio w/ some early morning classes too. Maybe pure will come to park slope...

A friend went to an adult vinyasa class here and said the studio was beautiful and, yes, clean!

I walked by and the studio looks great. The adult class schedule looks pretty extensive on the website: http://www.bendandbloom.com/schedule.html

Bend and Bloom! Ha, ha, I actually guffawed when I read this name. It sounds like a wholesome porn shop.

Class schedules that start at 10am and end by 8pm are not extensive. Some of us love yoga and still have to work to afford to live in Park Slope.

I've been to two clsses at Bend & Bloom so far and the studio is amazing. I agree with aCliche that PS needed a clean studio and Bend & Bloom is it-- they also have really great teachers and I love that they offer some 60 min classes cuz i never have time for 1.5 hr classes. There were no kids there when I went-- i went at noon and at 7pm and it was very chill. It is a bit out of the way for me but I'm still a fan.
To you snarky b-tards-- hold your comments till you try a place.

I have also been to Bend and Bloom and I agree with brigmoran, if you are looking for a relaxing, clean and spacious studio that caters to everyone...serious yogis included...this is it. The space is beautiful, there are two large studios, lots of classes and some great prices deals at the moment. It is brand new, so I am sure they are open to expanding class times if there is enough demand. Overall, a great find. I will definitely continue my practice there.

Hey there, so I saw the comment about early-morning classes. I just happen to be the teacher who will be teaching the early-morning class on Tuesdays at Bend & Bloom starting in November. We're trying to decide on a time that will work best for the most people. Please let us know either via email or by popping into the studio whether you would prefer a full-length class (90 min) or an express class (60 min.) Also, please let us know if you would prefer 7am, 7:15, or 7:30. Thanks! Hope to see you there! info@bendandbloom.com

Starting this Tuesday, Nov 4th, B&B will have Sunrise Yoga 7-8am!
Come to a pre-voting practice dedicated to a positive election outcome, whatever that may mean for you... cough, Obama, cough, cough... and peace and prosperity in the coming years. I've been hearing a lot of people saying, I don't want to get my hopes up. I say let's get them up really high and set the tone for the day, sending that energy out into the world. We're gonna rock out and show up to the polls drenched in sweat with savasana hair.
And let's be honest, none of us are going to make it to class in the evening of the 4th-- we'll all be riveted in front of our TVs so make it an a.m. practice!
This will become a regularly scheduled class on Tuesdays 7-8am. If it catches on, Bend & Bloom may add more Sunrise classes!
Oh, and don't forget, students who are new to Bend & Bloom can still sign up for A MONTH OF UNLIMITED YOGA FOR $45 as part of the grand opening special offerings!
