Good Week Fucktards. I have some bad news for ya! For those who think 2009 is going to be great you better strap in your helmets! To save the Asshats we are running a budget deficit north of 400 Billion dollars and to top it all off, they want more money. Thru being fucking stupid we have messed up America's financial system and it will take generations to fix it.
Record deficit expected in 2009
http://www.usatoday.com/printedition/news/20080728/1a_lede28.art.htm
WASHINGTON — The White House has increased its estimate for next year's deficit to nearly $490 billion, a record figure that will saddle the next president with deepening budget problems in his first year in office, a report due out today shows.
Plus rates on Treasury yields will fucking skyrocket!
The What
Someday this war is gonna end...
BTW The Treasury will bail out Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac!

Fannie Mae Loss of $2.3 Million Exceeds Forecasts
It's BILLION you fucktard! Million was so 1997...
Fannie Mae Loss of $2.3 Billion Exceeds Forecasts
Fannie Mae reported a wider-than-expected second-quarter loss of $2.3 billion and said it expects more heavy losses from the surge in home-mortgage defaults.
The What
Someday Brownstoner will get some real help...

.........I LOVE BROOKLYN!!!!!!!

Treasury yields don't rise as commodity prices fall asshat. The dollar is now seen as a safe haven vs. the EUR as Russia escalates in "eastern" Europe.
Take some time to learn instead of cuting and pasting headlines.
Someday the What will admit he doesn't know everything.
I was away the latter part of last week but now I'm back to correct all the ignorant babble that you spout.

Dave--you missed the outing of the What's sockpuppet DOW8000SP800. It was hilarious.
Posted by: wasder at August 11, 2008 8:51 AM
Damn...what post was it on wasder???
The What has apparently not noticed the higher highs and higher lows since the markets bottomed around July 15!!!
I was wondering when to bring that to DOW8000Sp800's attention!!!!

"Treasury yields don't rise as commodity prices fall asshat. The dollar is now seen as a safe haven vs. the EUR as Russia escalates in "eastern" Europe."
Ah Dave, returning from your surgery in the Dominican Republic? Use wads of toilet paper to stop the bleeding. Gerbil extraction is expensive in America, huh?
When the Olympics are over Asshat China will dump our debt on the market! Plus if you are running DEFICITS of hundreds of billions of dollars yes you will get higher yields, fuck commodity prices!
The What
Someday this war is gonna end...
BTW How are you "correcting" something you fucking Cromagnum Man!

"The What has apparently not noticed the higher highs and higher lows since the markets bottomed around July 15!!!"
A wonderful head and shoulder pattern, Asshole!
Head and shoulders (chart pattern)

This predates a fucking crash! I knew we was going back up and now the gates of hell are ready to open....

When you are the largest owner of some security you don't "dump" it on the market to drive the price down fool.
You continue to show an increasing lack of understanding of the markets that you so rant on.
Don't start name calling again What, I know a lot more words than you do.
This is pretty early for you What. You been up all night with your other buddies "on the DL?"
PS It's technically Cro-magnon not Cromagnum but you know everything!!!!

You should become a stockbroker instead of a real estate broker What. Maybe get a job at E Trade answering the phone.
Try and pass the Series 7.
Posted by: daveinbedstuy at August 11, 2008 9:05 AM
Cromagnum indeed. That's a hilarious mistype DOWhat. But what the past weeks discoveries mean is that the What's grumpy illiterate persona is an invention. When he writes as DOW8000 he is still wearing shit colored glasses but he can speak in whole sentences and his grammar is better. Remember this when the "What" is acting all pseudo-ghetto.
Posted by: wasder at August 11, 2008 9:06 AM
wasder I think he saw the condom name that his buddy was using and mixed up the words a little.
Posted by: daveinbedstuy at August 11, 2008 9:07 AM
Dave-it happened over several threads on Friday (notably the Cambridge Pl auction thread and the "everyone wants to live in the city" thread). "Dow" and "What" kept backing each other up in very obvious efforts to bolster their doomsday rants. The pattern was unmistakable. Only DOW fessed up though, "The What" hasn't come clean.

I think its terrible when someone has a sockpuppet. However it does usually kick start the posts when it's discovered!!!!!
Posted by: Bold type guest at August 11, 2008 9:14 AM
I referenced the "bold type guest" dust-up in the outing. Glad you still have him.
Posted by: wasder at August 11, 2008 9:17 AM
The scary thing about bedbugs is that no one is immune. Our offices in a large building in Manhattan were evacuated last week for fumigation of--you guessed it--bedbugs. People bring them in from their homes, the subways, and everywhere else. It was sort of a comical sight - a group of office workers running amok, trying to refrain from hysterics.

I'm not Dave.....if you look at my profile I'm actually Dave's 1905-built brownstone posting "anthropomorphically."
Posted by: Bold type guest at August 11, 2008 9:20 AM
Dave...you going to that Gay Rodeo the What was talking about on Friday???
Posted by: Bold type guest at August 11, 2008 9:31 AM
Oooooh...bedbugs. That is such an unpleasant thought. I have known a few people who had them in their homes but have so far been spared myself. I can't think of many things worse than being attacked by parasites in your own bed.
Posted by: wasder at August 11, 2008 9:33 AM
A whole house made out of granite? - that won't make Mr. B happy. But the geiger counter should be chirping.
Posted by: dittoburg at August 11, 2008 9:42 AM
The Cuomo story sounds like something the What would pull out of the air.
Posted by: daveinbedstuy at August 11, 2008 9:44 AM
"surgery in the Dominican Republic"
"Cromagnum Man"
LOL! Owned.
Posted by: DOW8000SP800 at August 11, 2008 9:50 AM
I heard about your problem on Friday DOW. I think the only one "owned" here is you. Have you looked at the DOW and the S&P lately??
Remind us again, how many days left?
Posted by: daveinbedstuy at August 11, 2008 10:04 AM
Ooh hooray! After much marching about town I get to come home this morning and see multiple What posts! and the usual supsects...the joy!
So wait, wasder = when did Dow fess up - catch me up - did I miss something in the Friday thread?
Posted by: cobblehiller at August 11, 2008 10:24 AM
Dear clueless "what?" - there's no person here so stupid as to refer to "cromagnum man" besides you. As if we needed further proof of your sock puppet.
We should really break out a bottle, no a magnum, of the bubbly.
Posted by: dittoburg at August 11, 2008 10:33 AM
and "LOL" just to seal the case.
Posted by: dittoburg at August 11, 2008 10:34 AM
In the Cambridge thread--he said "since I am the What's alter-ego...."
Classic trying to sound facetious while fessing strategy.

Requiring registration to comment was supposed to do what again?
Posted by: deadnancy at August 11, 2008 2:16 PM
it was meant to make it more hassle to insult each other
