Checking In On 349 Metropolitan Avenue

349-Metropolitan-0808.jpg
Sales at 349 Metropolitan Avenue, aka The Metropolitan appear to be going pretty well. The seven-story development has 35 units in total, according to the New Building Permit on file with DOB. Of those, StreetEasy shows that one has closed and another 21 are in contract. Six more two-bedrooms are currently on the market for between $599,000 and $669,000; all of these had price cuts in the 5% range at the beginning of the year. Have any readers been inside to check this place out?

The layouts are so small to have two bathrooms in them. This is also the crane-falling building. On the plus side, it's really close to Oslo!

Clumsy, ugly building, windows that only sorta open, eight foot ceilings, motel-thick walls. Welcome, yuppies.
