243 Dean Street Sells for $2,440,000

243-Dean-Street-0801.jpg
The demand for townhouses in Boerum Hill appears to be alive and well, broader economic tailspin notwithstanding. According to StreetEasy, the four-story brick house at 243 Dean Street, which had been featured as an Open House Pick in February when it was listed for $2,595,000, closed at the end of July for $2,440,000. While the price is about 5% below asking, it's hardly a bearish number! A best guess for when it went into contract would be around April.
