Fort Greene/Clinton Hill Win Walking Tours

fort-greene-statue-06-2008.jpgThe Brooklyn Economic Development Corp. recently held a contest in which local organizations pushed for their neighborhoods to be selected for monthly walking tours. The winning neighborhood was Fort Greene/Clinton Hill (as lobbied for by The Fort Greene Association, The Myrtle Avenue Brooklyn Partnership, the Pratt Area Community Council and the Fulton Area Business Association) and the first tour—led by Big Onion—will happen this Saturday. The event will take two hours and include 20 stops. More info on schedule and prices here.

Mr. B, you should stop making such a fuss about seeing groups of younger people, you're turning Brownstoner into a bullseye for the neighborhood.

Also, none of the links work.

Fort Greene is a wonderful neighborhood. However, we could use more after school programs/ jobs for the youth to help keep them out of trouble. I hope all the race baiters on this site don't live here, we have enough trash as it is.

Kisses
