Thanks for the link to my Dog Beach post, and I'm delighted to welcome y'all to "A Year in the Park"; there is indeed, however, a blog called "Across the Park" (www.acrossthepark.typepad.com), about Prospect Lefferts Gardens. This fellow blogger hasn't updated since Jan. (which is a shame, since it's a good blog), but in the interests of blog fellowship, I will make the correction.

I find the BBQ story sadly amusing - I mean the guy opens a restaurant in a non-pedestrian industrial area and then is forced to close it in less than 3mo.

Even if the guy had great food (which he didnt) it could take months if not a year to really establish a business like that in such a obscure location. Yet obviously the guy didnt have the capital to survive weeks.

I just want to take people like that and shake them - and say "what is wrong with you, what were you thinking"
