I'm glad the GL made sure to mention that the "most loathsome woman" was pushing a child in a stroller. We wouldn't want to see an opporunity to bash another "stroller mom" carelessly passed up, now would we? Also, we should all be glad the poster made a big deal about her gender. Because that was really important, too.

i would venture that the author would say she she was loathsome even if she was not a stroller mom

it might be an NYC thing. When I was in junior high school, someone committed suicide by jumping in front of the train at 96 st in Manhattan. I kid you not, the first thing I thought was man it's gonna take forever to get home to Brooklyn now since they were gonna have to shut down service for awhile.

Here's a thought about "the most loathsome woman" crap.

First of all...who lives in Park Slope and does their dry cleaning in Windsor Terrace.

Most people I know go to a dry cleaner within 2-3 blocks of their house.

Any reason this blogger ASSumes said woman lives in Park Slope?

Cause that would be a pretty moronic assumption.

10th Avenue is in Windsor Terrace. This place is almost 15 blocks south/southeast of prime Park Slope.

I am no fan of the entitled attitude I see on the part of certain stroller parents in Park Slope but the original blog-post is ridiculously unfair - this isn't Park Slope. This is Windsor Terrace. This is a rude act by a single rude person in a completely different neighborhood. Riding the coattails of this family and neighborhood tragedy to hook into the Slope-stroller-hate zeitgeist is disgusting. A woman died in a violent way. That you had yet ANOTHER! ANNOYING! RUN-IN! with the pram nazis is so beside the point it's mindblowing.

Oh, and did you say anything to this horrible person? Anything along the lines of "Please have some respect for the dead?" Oh, no. I see. You BLOGGED about it instead. That'll show 'er.

According to the NY Daily News, the murderer should have been in jail for violating his parole when he got caught following a robbery last year. Instead he was left out on the streets and killed poor Mrs. Woo.

NYC's criminal justice system is completely F'd up at every juncture.

"The parolee charged with strangling a beloved Brooklyn dry cleaner was out on bail for a robbery just blocks from his latest victim.

Cops said Jamal Winter, 22, was on parole after serving a five-year stint for robbery in Dutchess County, when he put a gun to the head of an auto repair shop owner on 16th St. in Park Slope on May 18, 2007.

Officials never charged him with a parole violation for the 16th St. robbery and a judge set $10,000 bail.

Cops said Winter robbed and murdered Kyong-Sook Woo last Thursday night in her dry cleaning store. He was arrested and charged Sunday.

No one wanted to own up Monday to just why Winter was still walking the streets."
