There is still have a loop in' Reset Password' that doesn't actually allow you to reset you password.

Unfortunately 11:43, the fix is only partial. I can now change my password, but the new password is not accepted!

Your post reminds me of the old joke in which a patient asks a surgeon "Doc, when my hand heals, will I be able to play the piano?" "Yes." "Great, because I couldn't before."

We've never had unimpeded "discussions about brownstone Brooklyn real estate, culture, etc." But I look forward to many technologically improved discussions.
