Urban Green Gets Green Light. Finally!

While the Urban Green sales team has been busy at work (about 3/4 of the 44 units are already sold), the site has sat suspended in time at the excavation and shoring stage for much of the past year. That's all about to change, if we're reading our DOB applications correctly. The new building application, which was originally filed on April 28, 2005 (!), was just approved yesterday, so work on the 44-unit eco-friendly condo can now begin.

So about 33 people bought their million dollar condos that were nothing but imagination - an illegal one to boot. There's really a sucker born every minute.

So, what about this building is eco-friendly? Anyone know? Is it just because they have "Green" in their name? They don't mention it on their website, except for the floor tiles in the powder room. . .
Sounds like it just has a courtyard garden. Ah, the power of a name.

This development has been a complete disaster. Occupancy was scheduled for 6/08 initially and they began construction just last month! They even have the nerve to post a sign that states that they are planning occupancy by 10/08! Does anyone have anymore info on this? Has anyone attempted to pull out of contract?
