There is also a Franklin STREET in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, you moron.
Judging from how nice this photo appears, my bet is that this is Franklin Street, as that stretch is so much cleaner and intact than Franklin Avenue, especially the part in Crown Heights.

No, that is the corner of Franklin STREET and Greenpoint avenue; I walk past it almost everyday and am quite certain I know my own neighborhood, as well as the names of its streets. The photo is even tagged "Greenpoint," in case there is any doubt.

Hi, I took the picture in question, and indeed, mtung is correct, it was taken at the corner of Greenpoint Ave. and Franklin St., not Franklin Ave. Having lived near the latter, I should know better. I have corrected my caption and regret the error. Thanks for posting, Brownstoner!
