1. 2-bed, 2-bath, EIK, private yard. $2,200, Humboldt near Nassau.
2. 1-bed near waterfront. $1,675, Huron at Franklin.
3. 2-bed railroad w/ sep. entrances. $1,695, 197 Green St.
4. 2-bed w/ backyard. $1,600, Calyer at Eckford.
5. 2-bed w/ h/w floors. $1,525, Franklin at Java.

re #4 - I imagine a broker saw it was underpriced ($1600) and got on to the owner straightaway telling him he'll make him a killing.

as a former resident of greenpoint i can't believe how expensive it has become. it was cheap when I was living there 2000-2004. oh the times have changed.

Greenpoint has always been a great place. Just took a while for some to figure it out.
Sounds like 12:58 got priced out of Greenpoint and is a bit miffed.

About that first listing: is there no livingroom? Are you supposed to just live in your bedroom and cook in the kitchen and hang out somewhere else? And why no pictures of the backyard? I can't imagine paying $1100/month for a share with no living room and a ten-minute walk to the G.
