Bay Ridge is not Brownstone Brooklyn. And before you think it or say it, I know the houses there.

Is Greenpoint or Williamsburg Brownstone Brooklyn?

I used to live in a cruddy apartment building in Clinton Hill at Washington and Gates. A year or so after I moved out, I served on a jury where a burglar said he was stealing (mostly from Pratt students) to buy crack at the building across the street.

Never mind that Botanica may not last long, what about Bija going out of business in two weeks!!! My kids go there for gymnastics and ballet classes and it's no longer??? What a sad time for Columbia Street.

My family and I checked out the circus this weekend (we go every year) and we had a fabulous time. The tickets are reasonable and there's not a bad seat in the house. It's nice to go to the circus in Brooklyn.
