Cool New Tool for Tracking Property Sales
The website EveryBlock just launched a feature that makes it easier to track property sales, particularly for anyone who find the city's own system, ACRIS, a little less than user-friendly. EveryBlock is culling ACRIS info on a monthly basis and organizing it so you can look at sales by neighborhood, ZIP, building class, and (we think this is the coolest part), on maps. The info isn't as up-to-date as the daily record Property Shark offers through its transfers function, but it's definitely a neat new way to track what sold, and where.
