Please, I can't for another building to go up, wedged in between the brick walls.

tetris.

that's right outside the 2/3 grand army plaza stop on plaza street west.

i wish they'd clean up that graffiti and make it a community garden or something.

it's been empty forever.

Look at the grafiti. I would never live in that ghetto.

funny, 5:49.

the more ironic thing is that the building to the left (without the graffiti) is probably one the of the most beautiful structures in all of new york city.

truly stunning.

the montauk club, i believe it's called?

Posted by: guest at February 5, 2008 5:53 PM

is "grafiti" the same as graffiti?

Posted by: guest at February 5, 2008 5:57 PM

Ah yes, that is the Montauk. Thought that gap looked familiar. Stunning building indeed.

At this point the club is just a tenant in the space due to the incompetance/criminal activities of the former management.

Posted by: guest at February 5, 2008 6:53 PM

That gap used to be an old tennis court. It was removed when the club closed and they sold off parts of the building for residential use.

The club is not a tenant, they are a fractional owner, and a minority owner at that.

But yes, the previous management was criminally incompetent.
