Streetlevel: New Gallery/Restaurant Coming to Atlantic

It's been a long time coming (the permit application was first filed back in 2006) but the storefront at 338 Atlantic Avenue is beginning to take shape. According DOB filings, the ground-floor space will be an "Eating and drinking establishment with art gallery." Should fit right in on the Atlantic Avenue of 2008. We're hoping to have more info on this one soon. GMAP DOB

I ahte that kind of combo unless the art is gracefully hung on the walls and doesn't detract from the food. Because the effort is split, the food is usually given short shrift.

the metalwork above the storefront looks beautiful. A real shame they couldnt do better than those ugly vinyl windows...
