Development Watch: 660 Bergen Street

Things have been moving at a snail's pace at 660 Bergen Street. When we checked in last March, there were already three stories of cinderblock in place. Now all four floors (plus "attics") are in place and something resembling stucco has been applied to the exterior but the place is far from finished. Not Karl Fischer's finest moment. Anyone know what explains the slow pace? Has developer Isaac Fischman been having any problems?

"Not Karl Fischer's finest moment." He's got to design it AND build it? No wonder it's taking a while.

We meant the design...

12:26 ha. thanks for the sarcasm.
by now i think we all should know (including mr. b) that that Architects design building, Builders construct building, Developers finance and manage the process. so, "Not Karl Fischer's finest moment." makes no sense unless you are talking about the design. the pace of construction has nothing to do with the Architect.

again, we were talking about the design...would you argue that it IS his finest moment?
