Development Watch: 433-435 3rd Avenue

433-3rd-ave-02-2008.JPG
Although we’re seeing a lot of new businesses popping up on 3rd Avenue in Gowanus, there’s not a great deal of construction going on (this is likely to change, of course, if/when the area is rezoned). One exception is a site on 3rd Avenue between 7th and 8th streets where contractors are tearing down an old warehouse. The property’s developers have filed plans (that the DOB has rejected several times) to put up a 6-story, 27-unit residential building. We’re definitely looking forward to seeing how this building takes shape and how much interest there is in a new condo or rental around here. GMAP P*Shark DOB

Scab job with no safety harnesses. geesh, will they ever learn?

As opposed to the union guys working the big steel, wearing their harnesses that aren't clipped into anything cause to do so would prove you aren't a real man?

Your words are English but, alas, your sentence is not.

You're right. It wasn't even on topic. I am so ashamed.
