Save beautiful Grand Street. It is sooooo critical to downzone that. What a loss if someone comes in an builds tall buildings over there. Hopefully the bubble will burst and the plummet in values will make everybody so delighted they downzoned. Save Brooklyn from tall buildings and market rate housing.

South Slope certainly has a parking problem and with the new developments it will only get worse. The R stops are 10 blocks apart at some points. It's tough for grocery shopping and hauling kids around so many people want cars. All the new condos that are and will be coming into South Slope and Gowanus need to have parking garages. Like if they're large buildings over a certain number of stories, they should be required by law to provide one parking spot for each resident. Any new highrise buildings in Park Slope should require that too. Heck, anywhere in Brooklyn.

11:02 I beleive that is already in place from a DOB code standpoint. The larger new constructions I see being built now are accomodating parking. The picture you see though is not new construction. It was converted.
