Sourcing House Parts: Remodelista's Best of '07
Interiors blog Remodelista has a great year-end round-up of fixture picks, from hooks to lamps to doorknobs. Also in the mix: Environmentally-friendly countertops. Well worth a look for anyone thinking of sprucing up the homestead in 2008. Any items that aren't on their lists that should be?

Remodelista features a lot of junk, often way overpriced...and often nothing even remotely "sustainable"...just more of the same wasteful junk.

It's also not the least bit sustainable or environmentally friendly if people are tearing out restorable floors and other fixtures, to add these "green" materials just because they're the hip thing to have. Contributing waste to landfill, and the truck exhaust hauling it, is not "green".
