MLK at Brooklyn Botanic Garden
Celebrate Martin Luther King, Jr. at Brooklyn Botanic Garden. Great Day Chorale, led by founder and director Louvinia Pointer, performs spirituals at 11:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Take part in a special tour of the plants of Africa and the Caribbean in the Steinhardt Conservatory at 1:00 p.m. Monday. $8, $4 students and seniors. 1000 Washington Avenue. Spoke the Hub MLK Celebration
Spoke the Hub presents its Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. celebration, "Creating and Sustaining Peace Inside and Out," a day of family-friendly peacekeeping workshops, discussions and performances.
