From the Archives: One Year Ago

Does anyone have a home remedy to get rid of mildew and clean the bathroom.

So did the Rushkoffs ever move out of Park Slope or Brooklyn for that matter??

3:57 Bleach and water. Try to air out or open vents.

Or vinegar and baking soda, 3:57 if you are pregnant, have young children or have allergies and avoid using bleach for those reasons. Vinegar and baking soda have an added benefit for cleaning the shower, because the combination keeps drains/pipes clear too.

Rushkoffs are privileged, sheltered, whining hysterics. My husband was mugged in Park Slope and hardly came to the conclusion he should sell his apt and move. A mugging can happen in any neighborhood and does. It happens less often in some of the nicer neighborhoods sure, but that doesn't mean it NEVER happens. There has been a rash of burglaries in Beverly Hills in recent years. No neighborhood is crime-free.
