vanderbilt-bus-shelter-0108.jpg
No more huddling inside of Tillies waiting for the B69 bus to take you to Park Slope. As of this week, the new bus shelter at the corner of Vanderbilt and DeKalb should be fully functional. GMAP

Anyone on brownstoner is sick in the head.

Not that you want to go to Park Slope! Fort Greene has all the amenities you need!

The bus? I don't think so.

I live across the street. There has always been a bus shelter there. They're just replacing it with a new one.

I live right down the street. I never take that bus because it goes to Park Slope! Gotta watch out for that slippary slope!

Posted by: guest at January 22, 2008 10:39 PM

watch out for the slippery slope, too.

You might want to ride that slippery slope all the way to PS321 for some remedial spelling.

11:15-park sloper. You definitly should be careful of that slippery slope!

Posted by: guest at January 22, 2008 11:54 PM

you all DEFINITELY need to learn to spell.

Classic brownstoner comment thread -- snarky, snooty and mostly useless. I'm HAPPY to see that a new bus stop is coming because I ride the bus. The only problem with these new bus shelters is that they don't post the bus schedules, unlike the old shelters. This is a real bummer when riding the B69, which runs very infrequently.
