Closing Bell: Christmas Tree Decorations in the Slope

The photo above comes from a reader who asks, "I'm wondering if you know what's up with the Christmas trees placed on top of cars in Park Slope? Is this the work of prankster kids? The sanitation dept.? Some sort of performance art?" That, or folks could have just been gearing up for MulchFest.

This has happened pretty much every year in each neighborhood I've lived in in Brooklyn. Common prank. Pretty lame if it's a nice car.

But damn if that old clunker don't look good with a tree toupe!
