The Greening of Myrtle Continues
When the current planting initiative on Myrtle Avenue is completed in the next few days, Bloomberg will only need to plant 999,960 more trees to reach the million tree mark. For the past couple of weeks, workers have been drilling and filling tree pits along the avenue in Clinton Hill and Fort Greene. The pits will all be a standard 8-by-5-feet and be lined with Belgian blocks. Another quality of life improvement brought to you by the Myrtle Avenue Revitalization Project.
