Brooklyn Flea: Progress Report

The Brooklyn Flea is starting to take shape, with excellent local merchants like Prague Kolektiv, Olde Good Things, Demolition Depot, Build it Green!, RePop, Housing Works Used Book Café, and Journey Home joining homespun folks like Georgia's Homemade Toffees, Gavin & Lily Jewelry (made by Catskill, NY, Brooklyn transplant Sarah Stoudt), and WFMU DJ Small Change as vendors so far.(There's going to be great food at the Flea too.)
We're finding some great sellers out there (and over a hundred have registered directly), but we'd love to hear your suggestions: Let us know your ideas for dealers in vintage furniture, clothing, lighting, records, books, watches and jewelry, bicycles, cameras, or other antiques. You can email us directly at eric@brownstoner.com. And if there's some niche we've left out, tell us and we'll track it down. In case you missed it, the Flea starts in April, every Sunday at the Bishop Loughlin School at Lafayette & Vanderbilt Ave. Vendor sign-up (no commitment) and basic Flea info is at www.brooklynflea.com.

geez, 12:36, did you even look at brooklynflea.com? you remind me of my kids; "dad, how do you spell...." that's always easier than walking over to the dictionary.

as a matter of fact, GHB, i did look at brooklyflea.com, which is where i saw the extremely self-explanatory pull-down menu listing the prices that range from $50-150. now, repeat after me....

ha,ha,ha...I laugh at me. GHB made witticism to other poster and I got defensive. Go ahead, smirk at me too; I deserve it -- 12:40/2:01

Rock on. As a Clinton Hill resident, I am really excited about this.

Will be there with bells on. Let's hope the occasionally decent prices you used to see in Chelsea might resurface in Bklyn.
This will be a huge success.... excellent, Mr. B
