Weekend Work at 540 Vanderbilt to Stabilize Facade

Following up on our report from last Thursday about facade problems at the Ratner-owned 540 Vanderbilt Avenue in Prospect Heights, shutterbug Tracy Collins followed up this weekend with some photos of the damage control. There's now some fairly serious bracing along the top of the facade along with a letter from the DOB taped to the building's front door allowing emergency weekend work to "add additional tie-backs and confirm the stability of the facade."
