Video: SWO Action at 614 7th Avenue
After a year or so of delays, the developers of 614 7th Avenue finally got the thumbs-up to start work a couple of weeks ago. Unfortunately for them, the slovenly work habits of their contractors have already led to a Stop Work Order. "Garbage and debris strewn throughout water pooling at site," reads the SWO. A member of the Concerned Citizens for Greenwood Heights captured the scene for posterity.

looks like an awful mess

The site has been a total shit hole since it was defeated at the BSA. I guess that's one of the downsides of a vacant property while the developer figures out what to do under the new zoning.
I'll bet the neighbors will be quite happy when the mess is cleaned up. Finally.

While the contractor is right in getting fined and we can argue cause and effect, you are incorrect about the neighbors being happy. They would only be happy if the original shithole was still there or better yet a community garden in its place.
