Something I forgot to add to survey comments:
Have a "vitual Brownstoner" page that is a map of Brooklyn with marks for every topic that Brownstoner has ever posted about. You can zoom in and click on any mark to be sent to the posts about the mark.

it's in the works, 12:58. should be ready to launch in January. it'll have markers for all 3,000 or so houses, apartments and development sites we've discussed over the past 3 years. should be extremely useful for people researching very specific locations where they're thinking of buying.

Rent or own? Where do you live? But no questions about whether you are looking to buy now or in the near future. Seems like that's the most divisive issue in the comments I read - those who bought then vs. those trying to buy now.

My neighborhood (Midwood) was not listed, so I picked Victorian Flatbush as the closest one to my real neighborhood. I bet I'm not the only one..
