Manhattan Bridge Reno: 25 Years Down, 6 To Go

The $829 million restoration of the Manhattan Bridge began a mere 25 years ago. Now in Stage 11 (out of 15), the project is expected to conclude in 2013. Anyone know what these workers were up to yesterday?

I think they must be trying to inject hipness back into DUMBO, as it has all leaked out into the river.

they are creating the perforation where, if the time comes, Booklyn will tear away from the rest of NYC (of course).

time warner cable trying to find the coax that supplies brooklyn. They need to fix it because it is leaking bits.
