Fed Chief Offers New Hint on a Rate Cut

Let explain this to you. If the Fed cuts rates, It won't make any difference. The Feds funds rate is that the Fed charges banks to borrow money. The risk of loaning this money have greatly increased and Banks are shoring up they own reserves.

This will NOT mean lower Mortgages rates because, most rates are tied to LIBOR. Libor rates has gone up like crazy this month. Libor is London Interbank Offering Rate, these are the rate Banks loan each other money. Question: Why are the rates being set in London? If you know this answer then, you know more about money than any dumbass in America.

The sunlight on that Ditmas house is absolutely beautiful. That's the kind of light I want shining into my house. Maybe I should drop the quest for a brownstone and try to find a nice corner Victorian...
