What do Brownstoner-readers think of the new windows in the former "Bedford Avenue Theater" on South 6th Street, as illustrated on Racked. I thought this building should have been landmarked a long time, which probably would have precluded this treatment.

Anti-developement NIMBY nazi. You want to preserve it the way you think it should be preserved, then be a grown-up and cough up the dough to do it.
I can't stand people like you, thinking other peoples property belongs to you and you somehow think you have a say on how it is run.
I want to see what your house/condo/co-op looks like. How you have painted it, how you dress, how you walk and how you talk. I'm sure you're a tightly wound up as*.

Wowzer! "Tightly wound up ass?" Talk about the pot calling the kettle. Let's get just three things straight: (1) There is ample case law that establishes that government has the power to establish landmarks (2) without having an ownership interest and that being the case, (3) it's perfectly reasonable that people who are interested in landmarks might discuss among themselves what properties might be suitable for such a designation.
I think that preservation of properties that capture the flavor of Broadway when it was the commercial heart of Williamsburgh, such as the Bedford Avenue Theater, creates a sense of place and is a positive use of governmental power.

NIMBY losers. You're more than likely over 50 years old, bald, fat, lazy, dim-witted, and have an entitlement complex.
Loser. You're remind of the very old mean spirited white women on rent control in my Brooklyn Heights block. Yelling at all the wild kids and delivery guys on their bikes.
Losers. Just die already.
