Correction: Michelle Williams NOT Leaving Brooklyn
False alarm. Apparently, Page Six (and all the blogs that piled on) got it wrong last week: Brokeback Mountain actress and Boerum Hill rez Michelle Williams has no plans to leave Brooklyn in the wake of her break-up with husband Heath Ledger. A source close to the actress tells us that while she's unlikely to stay put in the house they bought together (you know, too many memories), Fort Greene's as far as she's looking to go.

So Brooklyn brownstones have NOT all become worthless? What a relief! :-)

Can this woman spend some of her money on getting a tan?

"Can this woman spend some of her money on getting a tan?"
Wow!.
Posted by: guest at November 6, 2007 10:21 AM
Yay, more celebrity gossip! Bring it ON.
Posted by: guest at November 6, 2007 10:23 AM
Was that a huge sigh of relief that I just heard sweeping over all of Brownstone Brooklyn? :)
Also the young woman looks just fine and quite healthy without a tan!

No, please, no more "celebrity" gossip.

And you say Manhattan lost its soul...
Posted by: guest at November 6, 2007 10:28 AM
I still don't know who she is.
Posted by: guest at November 6, 2007 10:34 AM
Saw her at dinner in the nabe the other night. Seemed like a nice person - why doesn't everyone (including Mr. B) leave her alone?
Posted by: guest at November 6, 2007 10:34 AM
P.S. If I had perfect skin like hers--it's like porcelain--I'd stay out of the sun too.
Posted by: guest at November 6, 2007 10:42 AM
haha is 10:28 implying that celebrities cause an area to lose its soul???
Manhattan was dead over 100 years ago then.
Posted by: guest at November 6, 2007 10:43 AM
i don't get it, why is this lady famous again?
Posted by: guest at November 6, 2007 10:44 AM
Michelle Williams will be worthless once AY is built.
Posted by: guest at November 6, 2007 10:52 AM
I bet you she buys that Cobble Hill $8.75 mm house + carriage house.
Posted by: guest at November 6, 2007 10:54 AM
She looks like the kid from that Spielberg movie about the family that adopts a robot-child - "A.I."

C'mon, What! It's WAY too easy for you to merely INSULT Michelle Williams! How about some of your incisive analysis on Ms. Wiliams' fate once the housing market/stock market/world monetary system breaks down! We can go anywhere for sophomoric insults. We rely on you for your particular brand of apocalyptic expertise!
Posted by: guest at November 6, 2007 11:09 AM
The What will be worthless once the AY is built.
Posted by: guest at November 6, 2007 11:27 AM
Can we talk about her townhouse? Does anyone know what is could sell for? Is it loaded on the inside? I believe they paid $3.6, a record for Boerum Hill.
Posted by: guest at November 6, 2007 11:35 AM
What is the Heath premium?
Posted by: guest at November 6, 2007 11:38 AM
Please... can we talk about her brownstone? Anyone know anything about it??
Posted by: guest at November 6, 2007 12:11 PM
Hey The What,
Cut the crap.
Posted by: brownstoner at November 6, 2007 1:14 PM

Posted by: guest at November 6, 2007 3:35 PM
Michele Williams was a main cast member in Dawsons Creek on television, one of those references too young for predomonantly older brownstoners..Ask your kids... you guys gave her shit for moving out, now are giving her shit for staying... sour grapes?..cause she buys and doesnt have to mortgage?..
Posted by: guest at November 6, 2007 3:53 PM
And she is still hot!
Posted by: guest at November 6, 2007 4:06 PM
P.S. If I had perfect skin like hers--it's like porcelain--I'd stay out of the sun too.
Big market for that (porcelain salons).
Posted by: guest at November 6, 2007 5:09 PM
She's OK.
Posted by: guest at November 6, 2007 5:42 PM
The baby is so cute! It's a female baby version of Heath Ledger.
Posted by: guest at November 6, 2007 5:44 PM

Posted by: guest at November 6, 2007 5:55 PM
I heard she's doing a FSBO.
Posted by: guest at November 6, 2007 6:04 PM
She is beautiful. The tan people will all be getting skin cancer.
Posted by: guest at November 6, 2007 6:45 PM
What's that? You say Michelle Williams is NOT leaving Brooklyn?..damn it..I already gave up my rent controlled apartment on Berkley and 7th cause I thought Brooklyn was over. Double damn it.
Posted by: guest at November 6, 2007 7:00 PM
