Crown Heights North Association Meeting
Today, the Crown Heights North Association holds its first fall general meeting. The speaker's panel discussion topic is "Recycling for a Greener Tomorrow." Wednesday, 6:45 p.m. St. Gregory the Great RC Church School, 991 St. John's Place, corner of Brooklyn Avenue.

Mass Transit Speak Out
Today, Assemblyman Hakeem Jeffries hosts a Mass Transportation Community Speak Out featuring officials from the MTA and Department of Transportation. Wednesday, 6:30 p.m. Lafayette Avenue Presbyterian Church, 85 S. Oxford Street, between Fulton St. and Lafayette Avenue. (718) 596-0100.
