That sign is on Atlantic, off of Washington Avenue, opposite the McDonald's. That's not Prospect Heights.

Says who?
Posted by: guest at October 18, 2007 5:17 PM
There are two of those signs. One is is Prospect Heights and the other is in Clinton Hill. Based on the directions this one gives I think this is the Clinton Hill sign when you approach on Atlantic going South/West.

Another point, where is Hot Bird and is it still in business. Obviously they think they are the best BBQ in New York, but they can't be if they are no longer in business.

Says me [and everyone else]. Atlantic is the great divide. Just because you can see it from PH, doesn't make it yours : P

Hot Bird was around from approx '87-'92. Very good chicken meals, too. They had a bright yellow dodge delivery van with an orange globe atop that said HOTBIRD. Their telephone number was 718-Hot-Bird, which was very easy to remember. They were way ahead of their time, and could have been bigger than Starbucks, if people liked chicken more than coffee.

That sign is across from Mcdonalds on Atlantic tween Clinton and Vanderbilt, not Washington Ave.,since it is closer to Clinton Ave, I say its Clinton Hill.

I knew the person who started Hot Bird. I thought it would be big.
Plus he would do the big signs himself! No Bullshit. Those was the days.
Here read this, it's very scary. I will post it tomorrow.
Be well and have a good night

I remember "Hot Bird"and their bright yellow delivery vehicle,,, wasn't there one located in Sunset Park too back in the late 70's?
There was such a high rate of unemployment back then that working class folks humor used to be, "well, you can always deliver for Hot Bird"! :)

"Says me [and everyone else]. Atlantic is the great divide. Just because you can see it from PH, doesn't make it yours : P"
You and "everyone else" know what you can do, and since I disagree, not "everyone else" agrees with you. Anyway, I don't give a half-damn what you all think. It's in Prospect Heights.

I loved Hot Bird -- I miss them every time I see those signs.
