Streetlevel: Radegast Biergarten Opening 'In a Week'
When we reported back in June on the transformation of the former Empire Candy building into the Radegast Hall & Biergarten, the proprietors were hoping to be in business by Labor Day. Unfortunately for them, not only has that deadline passed but the Oktoberfest period is now drawing to a close without a single sud being spilled. But, do not despair, Halloween should be a lay-up. A call to Radegast headquarters yesterday revealed that the drinking-and-eating establishment should be open "in a week." Prost!
