Walentas Dunked, Money Raised at Dumbo Fight Night

walentasdunk1.jpg
On a night that celebrated the booming neighborhood's range of cultural options while raising money to restore its historic belgian brick streets (as well as some infrastructure work below them), several of the neighborhoods biggest developers climbed into the dunk tank and let the preservationists and disgruntled creative types take their best shots at them. (The line of the night from one of the J Condo developers: "Come on, you throw like an artist!") The highlight, of course, was David Walentas' turn in the hot seat (pictured above). The evening was not without controversy, however: After beating 30 Washington in a tug-of-war contest (photo on the jump), 70 Washington was disqualified for using non-resident ringers!
