Streetlevel: Bowling for Beers in the Burg

Kitschy leisure time activities are proving to be a successful bar concept in the land of hipsters. Building on the success of their retro video game-inspired Union Avenue space, the owners of Barcade just opened a new watering hole, this time organized around eight vintage bowling alleys salvaged from the backwoods of Ohio. The pre-opening parties for the aptly named The Gutter were at the end of last week and the general public got its first look over the weekend. We hear that there were some long waits on Saturday, but what's the rush when you're nursing a cold one at the bar. Anyone gone for a bowl yet?
