Streetlevel: Organic Market Opens in Bed-Stuy

jamal%26princeorganic.JPG
Bed-Stuy finally has a purveyor of bulgar wheat and agave syrup to call its own. The Bed-Stuy blog has the scoop on the recently opened Jamal & Prince Organic Market, which is on the corner of Halsey and Stuyvesant. The store is selling gluten-free products, natural juices, dried fruit and the like. Jamal & Prince is not yet fully stocked, but its proprietor says more organic goodies will be hitting the shelves soon. Has anyone stopped in?

Idiot troll, 11:49. Can't spell either.

Probably 19, has acne, is white, and lives in his mother's basement like a mushroom.

Congrats to the market. I hope it is well supported and thrives.

"Organic" simply means carbon-based. So, isn't all food organic? What would inorganic food be? Iron? Copper?

Yes...thank you. I think we all went to the first day of Biology class also. But...thanks for the chemistry lesson.
