Dazed and Confused in McCarren Park
Tonight at McCarren Park Pool go back to the days before Ben Affleck had completely ruined his career by taking in a view of the Richard Linklater classic Dazed & Confused. The ensemble cast includes Parker Posey, Matthew McConaughey and Jason London among others. The L Magazine-sponsored evening kicks off at 7 p.m. with music by the Powder Kegs; the film begins at sundown.
Kensington Artists Social
The first Kensington Artist Social takes place tonight at Thai Tony's at 3019 Ft. Hamilton Parkway. Your $10 entry fee gets you some finger food, a glass of wine, live music and a look at the photos of donje' photography . For more info, email Scott at
