Issue Project Room Event
The Old American Can Factory, located at 232 Third Street, at the corner of Third Avenue, is the site for this month's Issue Project Room events. Tonight at 8:00 p.m., Joe Wenderoth, author of poetry collections Disfortune and It Is If I Speak, as well as the novel Letters to Wendy's, collaborates with Butthole Surfers frontman Gibby Haynes.

This is the 'Old American Can Factory'. When was that? I grew up with the American Can factory at 43rd Street & 2nd Avenue. Can we have some more info?
