Candy Out, Schnitzel and Beer In on North 3rd Street

Photog Will Femia (who blogs over at Test of Will) recently unearthed the news that the former Empire Candy building at North 3rd and Berry in Williamsburg is in the process of being transformed into an authentic biergarten (without the garden). Dubbed the Radegast Hall & Biergarten, the space will include a beer hall up front and a restaurant in the rear. With any luck, the place will be up and running before Labor. Great news.
