The Vista and J Condo Get Their TCOs

vistaapr07.jpg
Last week was a big week for the issuance of Temporary Certificates of Occupancy. First, we reported that Williamsburg's Mill Building got its TCO on Thursday. Then DumboNYC dished that two new Dumbo developments, the Vista at 206 Front Street (above) and the J Condo at 100 Jay Street, had also received the provisional thumbs-up from DOB. J Condo closings will start May 16th; no date set for Vista. The merchants of Dumbo must be salivating!

With all these people coming in, DUMBO is going to be rumbling with activity this summer. So much for my little hideaway.

All are welcome to the DUMBO Neighborhood Association's annual meeting tonight, at 6:30pm at Powerhouse Arena, corner Water and Main St. in DUMBO! Food, drink, jazz, then two speakers (Jon Butler from Brownstoner, and Preservationist Lisa Kersavage.) Hope to see you there!

133 Water (the rental that was supposed to be a condo) also received it's TCO a few weeks ago. The listings with aptsandlofts indicate that move-ins will begin this week.
