369 Grand Avenue: FSBO Did Sell After All

369grandave041807.jpg
We'd been wondering what had become of 369 Grand Avenue, the four-story, seven-family brownstone FSBO that had been on the market for much of last year. We predicted at the time that it would sell for $1.29 million but city records show that it closed for only $1.2 million back in October. We're not sure whether it was technically an SRO or not, but regardless, the new owners have cleared whatever hurdles stood between them and a building permit, as demolition began this week. There's nothing on file yet with DOB so we don't know whether this will be condo'd like its neighbor or just renovated into a two-family house.

It looks like there's a building permit in the window.
