Edible Brooklyn's Donut Round-Up

27donut.jpg
Cobble Hill-based Blognut editor Bret Stetka really knows his way around a donut. In the latest installment of Edible Brooklyn, he leads readers to some of his favorite donut shops in the borough. Donuts and eclairs from the highly recommended Peter Pan Donut and Pastry (727 Manhattan Avenue, Greenpoint) are pictured above. He also gives a thumbs up to the marble twist at Mike's Donuts (6822 5th Avenue, Bay Ridge), the plain-glazed at 7th Avenue Donut Shop (324 7th Avenue, Park Slope), and any of the jelly-filled varieties at 5th Avenue Coffee Shop (212 5th Avenue, Park Slope). Anybody else have another favorite donut shop in Brooklyn?

Peter Pan in Greenpoint on Manhattan Avenue. Great donuts! Retro look inside. They have not messed with the recipe in over 30 years. You must try it!!!
