Development Watch: Northside Piers

As noted by Curbed, the Northside Piers project reached a critical milestone last week with the first panels of its glass exterior going up. In addition, the Toll Brothers project at Kent and North 4th, which will ultimately be a view-licious 29 stories, has added an on-site sales office. Any chatter on pricing? GMAP

I believe that the view-liciousness is temporary as their development plans call for 2 additional towers on the western side.

Love the skateboarder in the pic. Hasn't he been priced out (or moved back to the Midwest) yet? His days are numbered. One more year and the hipsters are bye bye.

Yes, two towers after this will block most of the views, so you will have sliver views of the water, and better views of the neighbors.

I went to their "grand opening" sales event to get a glimpse at the listings. It was filled with lame 50-somethings from UES, but I digress. Prices for a 1 BR start around 450K, up to about 600. A 2 BR will run you 550 - whatever. On a per-square-foot basis, it seems like a bit much, as a 1 BR would work out to be under 700 sq. ft.
