The Secret's Out in Crown Heights
We don't have a photo yet, but we wanted to post about the new spot on Nostrand Avenue, between Park Place and Prospect Place. It's a bar and restaurant called Secrets, which sounds a little bit cheesy, in our humble opinion, but it's already getting rave reviews on the Brooklynian boards. In the front of the space, there's a sit-down restaurant serving West Indian and American fare, and there's a big bar in the back. Apparently, the bar has 16-foot ceilings, and is equipped with a VIP room that's big enough for 20 of your closest friends. There's also a garden which will open in the springtime. Secrets is still in the soft-opening stage for now, but their grand opening is scheduled for February 1. Has anybody checked it out yet?

I agree the name could be better but props to the owners of this place. This is great news for our neighborhood!
