my educated guess is around Flatbush & Ave. D ... because of the street lamps in front of the building and the other pics on flickr. And some sleuthing on Forgotten New York ...

It's three buildings right by the Ave H train station on the Q line in Brooklyn, on the side going towards Coney Island. I pass it every day going to and from work.
