Re: the article on Warren St. It's funny, I've known several people who have lived on that block, all renters. Some of them lived there for years and never had a real problem besides the occasional racial slur.
I'd bet that in general, whatever the police response to issues on that street, it's better than in other neighborhoods in brooklyn, where the projects aren't surrounded on all sides by gentrified brownstone blocks...
