How about making the NY Daily News article a main topic for the day rather than a footnote in the Linkerati? Dan Goldstein has Brownstoner in his back pocket. Stoner stop schilling for DDDB and show some journalistic objectivity for once on the matter.

Errol Lewis sure is an objective opinion on eminent domain (cough).
"the institute's fictitious claim that eminent domain is out of control."
He's going to accuse DDDB and the Institue of Justice of exaggerating the facts? Why isn't he commenting on the exaggerations made by FCR about phantom jobs and phantom tax revenues from the Atlantic Yards?
What he doesn't bother to note is that the THREAT of eminent domain is used by developers to pressure people into selling their homes and businesses. That's why the Institute for Justice finds the threat of eminent domain and the abuse of it to be synonymous.
The worst part about his editorial is that his exaggerated example of eminent domain abuse is exactly what is happening in this case.

This is a blog--not a newspaper. Get the idea?
